If you like daytime temps in the low-to-mid 80s and nights in the 50s then November in the Valley of the Sun is for you. I’ll be cleaning the house to get ready for the holidays. In the meantime, one picture says it all, doesn’t it?
…and it’s only going to get redder after the final total of voting fraud is revealed and those votes taken away. And there are going to be a lot of them. Can’t wait to see whenever the esteemed Michael Barone provides his own final numbers. It will be rather incredible, I believe.
I guess I can say I share with all the libs, anarchists, and progressives (can you even separate them anymore?) protesting out there a sense of shock that Trump really did it. You think of all the forces that were marshalled against him, and Hillary Clinton still couldn’t beat him.
Remember that the Democrats are still in the early stages of denial – once the shock wears off the anger against the Clintons will reveal itself big-time. Not that there will be a whole lot that can be done: between eight years of Obama steering the party to the left and leaving the white working-class behind and picking the lousy candidate that Hillary ended up being, there’s not much meat left on the Democratic Party bone anymore. Oh, they’ll still have places like California and Massachusetts to call their own, but only the most rose-colored optimist wouldn’t see the country drifting red.
Still, I’d be lying if I didn’t think there was a sense of serendipity involved here. Frankly, I still can’t believe the Democrats not only elected that crone Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to lead their party but push everyone (deserving or undeserving) aside in favor of the likes of Hillary. I still remember walking off the golf course last fall with my Goodboys mates and smiling internally upon hearing the news that Joe Biden wasn’t going to pursue the Democratic nomination. My feeling was then – as it is now – that no Republican nominee (Trump included) could have beaten Biden. And I’m not alone in that assessment.
News flash – the map looks like this almost every election. Trump just made it marginally redder.
