With mainstream media’s attention all on the infighting within the GOP and the insurgent candidacies of “outsiders” Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, it’s easy to forget that Democrats have a potential train-wreck of their own on the horizon. Have to agree with PowerLine blog’s Scott Johnson here: I know I know I know the mindset of Democrats and liberals, but I still simply cannot fathom the attraction anyone can possibly have with Hillary Clinton; she is simply the most vile, repulsive creature on the face of the planet. As Johnson writes of her post-Iowa “victory” speech:

Clinton gave a six-minute speech (video below) that almost captures her full awfulness. She lies with pathological abandon. She is a gold-plated phony. She has achieved plutocratic wealth through public service while holding herself out as a champion of the common man. She struggles to impersonate an authentic human being.

Look, I know politicians are phony. I know politicians lie. I know politicians will say anything to get a vote. But how can anyone look at Hillary Clinton and see anything in her that qualifies her for the White House? Not only is every word that comes out of her mouth a lie and beyond inauthentic, but she’s a lousy candidate. No warmth. No authenticity. Just a cold, lying, calculating, screeching b**th who is the very personification of the establishment, big government incompetence, and corporate greed. And a feminist? Don’t make me laugh – she’s only where she is because of her husband.

Say what you will about Bernie Sanders, at least he believes in what he says – of course that may be a problem in and of itself. Hillary believes in nothing except saying and doing whatever it will take to get her back in the White House, and I have to believe that somewhere in the deep recesses of the Democratic Party, they are praying she gets indicted so that Joe Biden’s candidacy can be resurrected.

I’m sure I’m not the only one (though Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey thinks otherwise) who believes a Biden candidacy – especially with Elizabeth Warren as his VP choice – would be a formidable challenge to Republicans. If Democrats truly want to win the White House they’ll find a way to kick Hillary to the curb and free themselves of the corrupt, calculating stench of the Clintons once and for all. If not, you known damned well they are already grooming Chelsea to keep the graft and corruption going for another three four decades.
