I’ve got to be honest with y’all – I don’t think we’ve even begun to see the level of violence and civil unrest that is about to come our way in the wake of the Ferguson, MO race riots (and that’s what they are) these past few nights. As I’ve written in this space numerous times before (most recently here), Black America (for lack of a better term) has been both politically and socially enslaved by (supposedly) well-meaning liberal elites and Democrats who, through all sorts of entitlement programs since Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” and “War on Poverty” programs of the mid-’60s.
It doesn’t take a genius to see the wreckage the liberal elite establishment and intelligencia has wrought on the African-American community in the past 60+ years. The disintegration of the African-American family unit (which, in my view, has led to the increase in the influence of gangs who serve as replacement father figures), the waning influence of the church as the center of African-American family life, the cheapening of the value of human life brought about by the disproportional aborting of black babies, a public school system and powerful teachers unions that seek to maintain the status quo and their power and influence at the expense of the education of African-American youth, the downfall of America’s once-great cities like Detroit who have become no better than third-world backwaters, and, finally, race hucksters and shakedown artists like Jesse Jackson, the Reverend Al Sharpton, and the NAACP who consider themselves the great spokespersons of the African-American community. Fools, all of them.
The reality of the political situation for African-Americans is that they have been taken advantage of politically through the election of stooges like those in the Congressional Black Caucus who only know one thing – how to play the race card in every situation, and the fact that the only time Democrats want to see black faces around is when it comes at the polls on Election Day.
Heck, Democrats don’t even pay African-Americans the same as whites in their political campaigns.
All I’m saying is that it wouldn’t surprise me to see the riots in Ferguson and St. Louis spread to cities all across the country over the next few weeks. There are too many African-American youths and young men out there with too much time on their hands, too little education, too little opportunity for employment and advancement, and too much prison time to hope for a better future. Maybe they’re finally getting the picture they’ve been played for patsies and stooges by liberals and Democrats who care only about their votes, not their lives.
But don’t worry about it: the first African-American president Barack Obama will be golfing and wining and dining his way across Martha’s Vineyard, and his corrupt and vile racist Attorney General will seek to blame anyone who is white for the unrest. It’s beyond disgraceful how these two very powerful people in Washington have, from the start, sought to divide this country along racial lines for purely political purposes. And when you do that, don’t be surprised how easily the powder keg can be lit.
There’s the smell of revolution in the air. Might just be time to get me a gun.
