Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox, winners of the 2013 World Series. The team showed just how tough they are, beating the best pitchers of the Tampa Bay Rays, The Detroit Tigers, and the St. Louis Cardinals. They gritted out one game after another and made the fewest mistakes – exactly what a team needs to do in baseball’s post-season. And congratulations to David “Big Papi” Ortiz, voted Most Valuable Player of the World Series. What a great way to spend an October week in Boston!
Let the celebration begin!
Congrats to the Sox. Pitching thoroughly dominated just about every series this postseason. The toughest team won. Ortiz was dialed in better than anyone I’ve ever seen in my 50 years of watching baseball.

Think you’re right, Rob. I think both teams were equally talented but the Sox did a better job of preparation and were ready for the good pitching the second time around. Happened with Tampa Bay, happened with Detroit, happened with the Cards. The Sox were just relentless and kept coming after you.
