It’s too damned hot to be doing anything outside, so I’m hanging pictures to change the look of various rooms. The guest bedroom has been turned into a Endless Summer movie shrine, with a bona fide short board hanging on the wall to compliment my signed “treasure hunt” poster which I finally got around to framing and hanging, and various art work commemorating the film. It’s a happy and inviting looking room now – perfect for guest who want to come and stay.
Looks like we have our first monsoon event coming our way today.
Instapundit is a great site, featuring commentary, interesting links, and news you can really use, like this.
If there was any doubt Tiger Woods is officially “back”, I think his performance Sunday at Congressional seals the deal. The big question is now, what does he do in the remaining majors this year? I don’t think he’ll win the British Open, but I sure wouldn’t be surprised to see him lap the field at the PGA Championship. If he’s still hitting the ball like this come next April, he’s a lock to win the 2013 Masters.
There’s really nothing you can say about this, other than Attorney General Eric Holder is a world-class ass. Anyone who has followed the Fast and Furious scandal to date knows full well that there’s only one person responsible for dragging out the proceedings into an election year, and that’s Eric Holder. He’s stonewalled the thing from the start, and it was his intention all along to use Barack Obama and the 2012 elections as cover for his own incompetence and corruption. He’s a disgrace to the office.
It’s so hot I need a mellow surf tune to keep me sane. Here it is.
The guest room sounds like the perfect place for this Surfer Girl wannabe….would love to have a short board for my new porch room

Ordered it from here, check the site out. They’re not exactly surfboards but surfboard shaped and painted pine wood.
