Been a little short in the blogging department lately, but it’s been a little crazy around here since we returned from Vegas. Here are a few Items I came across over the past few days worthy of a mention:
All of a sudden the Red Sox are very hot. And they’re doing it with a bunch of young hustlers that are a pleasure to watch.
You hear me talk a lot about taste, class, and appreciation – qualities oh-so-hard to find these days. Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson embody those qualities. If you want to see what I’m talking about, skip to the six-minute mark of the video at this link. They don’t make ’em like that anymore.
Great river confluences of the world – the pics are awesome!
The Beach Boys have released their second single off their forthcoming CD “That’s Why God Made The Radio”. I think it’s pretty good – very breezy and mellow. BTW, official release date of the album is Tuesday, June 5.
I’m a huge Phil Mickelson fan, but his withdrawing from The Memorial after one round citing “mental fatigue” was a classless thing to do. People buy tickets that support the charities just to se folks like Phil, and even if he wasn’t mentally up to it he still should have sucked it up and played his round and miss the cut like a pro does. If your mind and body aren’t up to it, Phil, withdraw before the event to give someone else a fighting chance. You’re bigger than that.
Shank:
You know that Phil would not be allowed
to do that in a Goodboys tournament. Hec, if that was my score 70ish?? I would rent out a sweet at the Sheraton and have a big party for
the Boys.
