Have I got your attention? Good. Just a little trick to get people’s brains moving in the morning. 🙂
This ought to be a pretty interesting weather event. Supposedly, there’s a possibility that some of that energy could drift south and get us our 2nd winter storm of the season come this weekend.
Hopefully the Phillies’ re-signing of their closer Shane Madson opens the door for the Red Sox to resign closer Jonathan Papelbon. But I have a feeling he’s going to end up in Texas.
When do you know it’s time for your campaign chair to go? When he goes on a major cable news network show in prime-time and accuses the wrong person of being behind one of the sexual harrassment accusations against Herman Cain. Look, I know he’s running an “unconventional campaign” on a shoestring, but for God’s sake, has this campaign ever heard of the term “opposition research”? That’s just plain embarrassing.
There’s something about the combination of a chilly November night, a cold Sam Adams Octoberfest, candles burning, and classical music playing softly in the background that soothes the savage beast. These nights, I’m listening to 95.9 FM WCRI from Block Island & Hope Valley, Rhode Island, serving RI and the southeastern Connecticut coast. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Almost feels like home.
The Penn State sexual abuse scandal has become quite breathtaking in its scope, it’s even going to bring down ol’ Joe, who, frankly, should have been put out pasture years ago. Never liked him or his arrogance. I guess when your associated with academia and a major institution like Penn State you think you can get away with everything. (Hat tips: Drudge)
When I read stories like this, I have to wonder if there is anything this country can do right anymore. Incompetence is one thing, the apparent and reckless lack of care and concern for the bodies of those who died serving their country abroad just blows my mind.
Always liked this song and this video from Robert Plant. It’s a classic.
