This is pretty funny – “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas”, as written by a lawyer. (Hat tip: Instapundit.
What would a Barack Obama speech about Christmas sound like?
Sounds like the MoveOn.org people need to get a life. Is there any time of the year these guys aren’t fixated on politics? What a miserable existence being with that crowd must be. Someone at least tell a joke….
I’m cool with the idea Jesus wasn’t born on the 25th of December. Christmas shouldn’t be just one day a year, anyways, but 365. OK to take one day off every four years as a nice break.
Doug,
Be sure to let Tracy know that having her come here was the most precious gift EVER. She was amazing and her heart is so true and loving. She brought a quiet calm into the chaos of my life that week.
I want to send you both a rose photo (unless I already gave her one…cannot remember) that dad took of his roses. Let me know if I gave her one.
Life has changed and tilted 180 degrees without my dad in my life. He was my best buddy, mentor, debator, companion and project manager. There are no words to describe the depth from where I miss his presence, voice and laughter.
Mom is going to be staying with me and with that come her two cats…I have the most expensive litter box in Prospect (aka, my house)…litter boxes everywhere and no one seems interested in trying to get along except the kitten, Lily and mom’s cats are NOT interested in liking her back. OY VEY. It is a challenge to say the least and I know you know what I am talking about.
I miss and love you both.

Good to hear from you again, Jana and our hearts go out to you. I know exactly what you’re talking about, having our gues bedroom taken over by two “guests” who are driving the other rabbits in the house insane with jealousy or hatred or something.
All you can do is roll with the flow of things, which I’ll blog on shortly. Hang in there and know we love you, are thinking of you constantly, and are praying for you and your mom.
