The reason she is considered a golden girl is because at the age of 15 she was competing for majors (2nd at the LPGA, 3rd at the British, led the US Open at one point). Unfortunately she got messed up (thanks dad!) trying to play on the men's tour. She's not even 20, give her a chance. Last I checked, she beat out most of the women who have been playing on the tour for awhile. Go pick on Paula Creamer or Natalie Gulbis. Way too harsh.
