The surf music is blaring, the pool temp is 92, but I have a stack of work that just won’t let go. And unfortunately, expectations far exceed what I’m able to deliver on a daily basis.

I’ve always been one to be square with my audience, and the fact is that circumstances (both business and personal) preclude me from doing justice to this weblog for the time being. This is not to say there won’t be posts from time to time, but the responsibilities of work and home just make it difficult to post of a quality both The Great White Shank and his readers demand.

That being said, I’ll be taking at least a month-long sabbatical from regular daily posting. That’s not to say there won’t be entries from time to time, just that there may be days – perhaps weeks, who knows? – when you might not see an update. Rest assured I’m still out here, it’s just that right now work precludes me from doing this weblog the attention it deserves.

This is not to say there won’t be any activity whatsoever, it’s just that there may be longer gaps between postings for the next month or two as my personal and professional life gets sorted out.
