		<description>I so appreciate the "learnings" you post. It is a lovely balance to the rest of the season and what more of us need to keep present. I think I will create an Advent wreath and light candles as well. Seems like a good thing to do. I still love blending the "old ways" with the Christian traditions. The old ways ground me to the earth and nature and the mystery..the Christian traditions bring in the more tangible beliefs of the written word. I am planning my winter solstice ceremony and I think it will be lovely. On Christmas Eve I go to the most beautiful Lutheran church for service...it is very baroque in style and the place where we first attended church upon arriving in the USA..my brother was Christened there and we held his memorial service there. I plan to go to an amazing choral service at my friend's church...the choir there is superb. It is a time for reflection and renewal and I thank you, Doug, for the grounding.</description>
