Still sounds like the perfect life to me. I imagined myself to be a California Surfer Girl all through high school and even wanted to go to UCLA (1966). When my dad heard that he said, "NO child of mine will ever go to a liberal, commie, pinko school that has Angela Davis as a professor!!!!". End of that dream because being able to live to see 19 was in imminent danger if I ever mentioned UCLA again. And yet, I still dream and imagine being that surfer girl today and love all surf music, surf movies,surfer dudes (I melt every time I see Laird...sooooooooooooo hot). When one stops dreaming, one stops living...dream on dude/dudettes.
