10. I don’t care how much his double or his fine catch tonight helped the Red Sox win. J.D Drew stinks, and is without a doubt the worst signing of Theo Epstein’s career as Red Sox GM.
9. Luciano Pavarotti was one of the greats, and he will be missed.
8. Does anyone really care about the presidential debates, Democratic or Republican? They’re boring, the questions are inane, and everyone wears the same dark suits with white shirts and red ties. I’m so disenchanted with politics in this country that I’m seriously thinking of sitting the 2008 elections out. And I could care less if Hillary Clinton wins.
7. Did I mention that J.D. Drew stinks?
6. Speedy outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury is the best thing that happened to the Red Sox starting lineup since second baseman Dustin Pedroia. I love the enthusiasm of the Red Sox youngsters and the way it’s been rubbing off on the Red Sox veterans.
5. The Boston sportswriters are afraid of writing anything, or asking any questions to manager Terry Francona, negative about J.D. Drew. The guy could massacre a 5-member family while driving DUI in Revere, and there he’d be, stuck right in that 6-hole. It’s atrocious. Of course, Boston Globe beatwriter Gordon Edes disagrees with me, personally…
4. Wanna know the real reason why Democratic (and Hillary Clinton) fundraiser Norman Hsu went on the lamb after being arraigned on felony charges the other day? I’ll give you two reasons: 1) Vince; 2) Foster.
3. Renee Zellweger makes my knees knock. But maybe Cate Blanchett has a more classic look, dontcha think?
2. After a night of watching sporting events and cable news, I have one question: how in the world did the male species ever survive without drugs for erectile dysfunction?
1. Did I mention how bad J.D.Drew stinks?
