Hot: The only thing you need to know is this link. Now, just imagine that it’s 115 outside (120 if you’re around any amount of concrete) and your pool water is 96 degrees. Take a dip in. There, doesn’t that feel better?
Cold: If my cable modem got any cooler it would be an adjustable wrench lying on the sidewalk of Fairbanks, Alaska back road around midnight on February 7th. I’ve given the Cox people fair warning – get this problem fixed, or I’m taking my business elsewhere. We’ll see what happens when they come out tomorrow with a real, live Cox technician, not Ricardo the contractor they sent out last Friday with his buddy Julio – neither of which specialized in English as a second language. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions…
Hot: I love watching Dustin Pedroia play for the Red Sox. If my cable modem worked, I’d be able to watch DP at the plate during mlb.tv games, but then, I’d be back to the “Cold” category once again…
Cold: The condenser on our A/C unit, which thankfully keeps humming away up in the attic. I won’t delude myself into thinking all is well and that we won’t lose it at some point during this summer – but any day you hear it happily click on is a good day.
Hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th!
