Unfortunately, it will be a weekend of work for me, but when I lived back East I always enjoyed Memorial Day weekend. For one thing, up and along the seacoast, it meant the beginning of summer, although I can remember quite a few Memorial Day weekends when the weather was hardly summer-like. Because it was such a tradition, coming out here to Phoenix means it’s kind of a let-down. I mean, summer’s already been here for a month!

Between having a ton of work to do and the fact so many people will be getting away, blogging will be light this weekend, but it will be existent - heck, the rest of the world won’t stop simply because a couple two threee Americans are taking their first summer vacation!
