…now THAT’S some kinda old chestnut from the mid-70s.
Seems Phoenix is all a flutter over the latest prospect for rain: it’s a gaudy 10% tomorrow and (gasp!) 20% on Wednesday. We’re up to 140 days without measurable rain, so the poulation and media are on edge – one can almost feel the tension in the air (oh, I’m sorry – that’s just dust) :-).
